Continued strong order intake, lower net sales and operating profit

Bo Kastensson, Chairman of the Board of Pricer AB, has decided to resign and leave the Board effective immediately as a result of disagreement regarding the company’s strategic direction. The Board of Directors has, from among its members, appointed Bernt Ingman as new Chairman of the Board for the period until a new Chairman has been elected by the next Annual General Meeting.

Strong order growth in the quarter, operating margin affected by new pilot programs with a lower gross margin

Helena Holmgren, currently CFO of Pricer AB, has been appointed acting CEO of Pricer AB starting August 14, 2017 and until a new CEO has been recruited. Helena will take over from Andreas Renulf who resigned from the position earlier this year, and will remain as advisor to the acting CEO during the notice period.

A leading US retailer has signed an agreement with Pricer to roll out its Digital Shelf-edge solutions to 60 stores. The estimated value of the agreement is SEK 70 million and is expected to be included in Pricer’s order intake value for the third quarter of 2017. Deliveries are scheduled to begin during the third quarter of 2017.

Donald Charles Jackson, Deputy CEO & Executive Vice President of Pricer and currently based in Paris will, over a transition period of coming few months, move to Atlanta, USA to lead the expansion efforts in the growing Americas market (US/Canada and Latin America).
