Pricer has, together with its partner Toshiba Tec Belgium, been chosen as supplier of Louis Delhaize Supermarkets (part of Delfood) to install Pricer's ESL system in ten stores during this year. The total value of the ten installations is in the range of USD 250 000, and Toshiba Tec Belgium will use both products in stock and place new orders with Pricer. Louis Delhaize Group is one of the top food retail chains in Belgium with approximately 300 stores throughout the country. Louis Delhaize Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, the first of the ten stores, will install approximately 3 000 labels in July. Thereafter follows Louis Delhaize Waterschei which is due to open in August.

"Louis Delhaize Group wanted to rely on a future proof technology, enabling them to build their ESL program with total confidence and security. We had the solution that matched these and other requirements, as well as our ability to offer a full turnkey solution," says Marc Goossens, Key Account Manager, Toshiba Tec Belgium.

Charles Jackson, General Manager, Pricer SA, also sees Louis Delhaize's choice of supplier as proof of the Pricer system's strength. "The user friendliness of our solution is a definite advantage, as well as the reliability and durability of our system even in a compact and challenging store format."

"We're proud of this new business which reinforces our ESL-strategy in the Belgian market,"comments Koen Willems, Product Manager, Toshiba Tec Belgium.
