Pricer’s CEO Helena Holmgren is interviewed in the Swedish business magazine Affärsvärlden. In the interview she says that Pricer benefits from the increasing digitization of retail and that without ESL’s there is a missing link in the process.
According to Helena Holmgren, the reason why the penetration grade still is relatively low is the fact that brick-and-mortar stores have only just started their digitalization journey. Due to the size of investment the decisions are often preceded by long decision processes. Helena Holmgren sees major potential growth in the market, especially in North America. Apart from grocery stores she also sees a possible growth within DIY.
