Pricer SmartTag Color
An extension to Pricer’s SmartTag Color range is its new 4-color ESL developed to meet retailers’ requests for additional color functionality to support more vibrant promotion and consumer communication. Featuring the longest battery time on the market thanks to Pricer’s optical wireless technology, Pricer’s SmartTag Color labels allow retailers to bring promotions to life at the shelf-edge, as well as enhancing digital signage and brand communication throughout the store.
These new capabilities come to the market at a time when shoppers’ expectations of digital interaction in-store have accelerated, prompting an ‘information revolution at the shelf-edge’. Pricer’s analysis on shopping behaviour among consumers in key European countries (Retail Europe: Shopper Outlook Report by Pricer) shows that now, six in ten (64%) would like more access to product details in addition to pricing.
To help retailers address the issues of shelf availability, gap detection and improve replenishment, as well as planogram compliance, the Pricer ShelfVision solution combines machine learning (ML) and computer vision with a sophisticated wide-angle camera. This allows retailers to have exact and up-to-date visual information to maintain full shelves ensuring greater customer satisfaction and retention.
Pricer will also be showcasing Pricer Plaza, the foundation of Pricer’s solution, a cloud-based management system infrastructure that enables Software as a Service (SaaS) business models.
