Following an evaluation process, Costco Wholesale Corporation, the sixth largest retail chain in the USA, has selected Pricer as the supplier of an ESL system.

Costco has evaluated a number of different ESL systems, both in laboratory and store environments, over a period lasting approximately five months. The order initially relates to a store in Enfield, Connecticut, and will be delivered during July 2004. Costco's stores in Connecticut currently use a competing ESL system which will gradually be replaced.

"The fact that Costco has selected Pricer as an ESL supplier is a very positive development and it also shows that our system can be competitive in the US market," says Pricer's President, Jan Forssjö. "Pricer will now be a supplier to one of the really large chains in the USA, which is a major step forward in our new investment programme in the North American Market."
